High octane Infiniti F1™ Showrun to open Dubai Motor Festival

Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the second edition of the Dubai Motor Festival featuring a number of exciting events and experiences, will take place from 19th November to 6th December under the theme “Passion on Wheels” at SkyDive Dubai .

Infiniti has the honour to stage the opening event of the festival when it presents the Infiniti F1™ Showrun at 4:30pm on 19 November. This will be the region’s first chance to see the 560-horsepower Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge concept which embodies the arresting design features of the Q50 Sports Sedan and the enticing spirit of Formula One. Also seen will be the Infiniti Red Bull Racing 2011 FIA World Championship winning RB7 race car.

These ultimate performance cars will be driven by two of the best drivers in the world: Infiniti Red Bull Racing’s quadruple FIA Drivers’ Formula One World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, and this season’s standout debutant, Daniel Ricciardo.

Commenting on the Infiniti F1™ Showrun, Jin Chwen Ong, Director, Dubai Motor Festival, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), said the event has become a special season that provides families, enthusiasts, dealers and automotive brands the opportunity to come together under one umbrella in a happening city like Dubai.

The Infiniti F1™ Showrun roars into life when the RB7 fires up and the drivers’ parade begins. An event not to be missed, what’s more, entry to this exciting opener of the festival is free of charge.
