Street Style meets souk’s colors by Dolce & Gabbana

Dolce&Gabbana celebrates the opening of the boutique, located on Fashion Avenue Expansion of the Dubai Mall, with a special show that will take place on October 7, 2018. For the occasion, green, white and red-colored lights shine inside the mall reminiscent of a typical Italian city. Golden details brighten the spaces, bringing to mind the warm daytime sun; the blue of the furnishings gives a sense of seductive mystery to the night atmosphere.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana create a collection full of contrasts, designed for the golden nights with a touch of tailoring, Sicily, and Italianness. Long evening gowns are presented in pink peony, orange, yellow and blue chiffon with feathers details, amethysts, emeralds, aquamarines, gold and silver crystals adornment, floral embroidery, and arabesque ornamental motifs. There are also crowns and hats that transform the Dolce&Gabbana woman into a strong and passionate queens. The collection also includes masculine tuxedos, and looks that evoke a sporty and contemporary attitude.

The boutique, opened in March 2018, is characterized by an imposing black marble Sahara façade that reveals a splendid sheen when the gilded interior panels are illuminated at the setting of the sun. The boutique occupies three floors and is designed by architect Marco Costanzi of MCA Studio, who has interpreted the spirit of Dolce&Gabbana in a unique way, infusing it with the dream-like atmosphere and warm colours of the Middle East.
