UAE launches National Air Quality Agenda 2031 to tackle pollution

The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) has launched the National Air Quality Agenda 2031, which was first approved by the UAE Cabinet in June 2022.
The agenda provides a general framework to lead and align federal and local government entities, as well as the private sector, to monitor and effectively manage air quality while reducing air pollution.

Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, has died at Balmoral aged 96, after reigning for 70 years.
She died peacefully on Thursday afternoon at her Scottish estate, where she had spent much of the summer.

The UAE fuel price committee on Wednesday announced petrol and diesel prices for the month of September 2022.
Super 98 petrol costs Dh3.41 a litre, compared to Dh4.03 a litre in August, while Special 95 costs Dh3.30 a litre, compared to Dh3.92 a litre the previous month.
