WAM -- In celebration of Flag Day, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, raised the UAE flag in Zabeel Park this morning in the presence of more than 20,000 school students, representing almost 120 different nationalities residing in the country.

The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai marked the event by raising the flag on a 12-metre flag pole with the national anthem playing in the background.

WAM -- Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reviewed the designs of Hope Probe, as part of the Emirates Mars Mission.

The project will send an unmanned probe to Mars by 2021 marking the UAE’s 50th National Day.

Indian businessman Balwinder Sahani paid 33 million dirhams ($9 million) for a Dubai license plate for one of his Rolls Royces.
