Emaar Properties achieves highest ever property sales

Dubai-based global property giant, Emaar Properties, achieved a total of AED 33.7 billion (approximately USD 9.2 billion) in real estate sales from January to December 2021. That amounts to a staggering 209 percent increase as compared to the overall sales of the previous year, which totaled AED 10.9 billion (USD 2.9 billion).

Emirates ID to replace UAE residency visa page on passports

As the UAE’s residency visa stickers in passports are replaced with Emirates ID as of April 11, the previous form of stickers will only be available online as a reference for residents.
According to the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICA), the Emiratis ID will be proof for residents as it contains details of residents’ visa status.
