Dubai: With fewer tourists visiting Dubai from Russia and Europe, retailers have witnessed a slowdown in sales, particularly in the luxury end of the market.
According to a report by Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), Dubai’s retail sector did not post a stellar performance during the second quarter of the year, as the number of traveling luxury shoppers has declined.

Tourists to the UAE can now apply for a 90-day visa online, the Ministry of Interior has announced.
The e-service, available on both the ministry’s website and smartphone app, is expected to reduce application time, as well as the number of people at its visa centres by 80 percent within three years.
