Building on a long-standing partnership, Rolex and Ahmed
Seddiqi & Sons celebrated the first anniversary of the innovative Rolex Flagship
Boutique in Dubai by unveiling the latest watches presented at Baselworld 2019.

additions to its Oyster Perpetual collection, all carrying the brand’s own Superlative
Chronometer certification, symbolized by a green seal.
The latest model, the Oyster Perpetual Yacht-Master 42, joins the Rolex sailing

in 18 ct white gold, that includes the Rolex Glidelock extension system.
The Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller makes its first appearance in a yellow Rolesor

presenting a concentric gradient, in decorative stone, or entirely diamond-paved
with a rainbow of sapphires for the hour markers.
The new Oyster Perpetual Datejust 36 and Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 watches
in yellow, white or Everose Rolesor versions (combining Oystersteel and 18 ct gold)
are all proposed with elegant and refined dials. They are equipped respectively with
calibre 3235 and calibre 2236, new-generation movements first introduced on these

“We are proud to celebrate the first anniversary of the Flagship Rolex Boutique
in Dubai. The unprecedented emporium is designed to take our customers on an
immersive experience, encompassing the exceptional characteristics of Rolex. With
a relationship spanning over half a century, we continue to work passionately with
the Rolex brand and are pleased to reveal the 2019 updates to the Oyster Perpetual
collection to our esteemed clientele in the UAE,” said Abdul Hamied Ahmed Seddiqi,
Vice Chairman of Seddiqi Holding.
Opened on 30 April 2018, the world’s largest Rolex Boutique covers an unprecedented
850 square metres of retail space, including an area devoted to a total immersion into
the world of Rolex − the Rolex Experience – which encapsulates the brand and its
legacy in a truly exclusive and unique setting.
THE ROLEX BOUTIQUE
The Rolex Boutique was created with bespoke architectural and design
components, custom-designed by the Rolex Interior Design department in Geneva
to reflect the brand image with its hallmark colours, materials and architectural
features. Inspired by the design of Rolex watches, the façade of the building
echoes the iconic fluted bezel, with alternating transparent and opaque elements –
bringing light into the boutique and a view of the exterior from the inside. In
addition, design elements were inspired by the local aesthetic and culture, infused
throughout the boutique.
