Managing director of MIE Groups Ltd., David Wang says that the UAE is a key trade hub for China as it provides an important regional base for over 4,200 Chinese companies and private businesses, and also allows Gulf companies the opportunity to invest and market their services.

“The bilateral relationship between China and UAE has steadily grown year on year. In recent years, trade with China has increased by around 14% annually and we are confident this will continue to grow at a steady pace,” he says.

China is ranked as Dubai’s largest, and the UAE’s biggest trading partner and Chinese companies are equally interested in coming to the UAE to make business connections and develop core relations and beneficial trade agreements, according to Wang.
