A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises opens state-of-the-art laundry facility

Dubai, UAE (October 10, 2018) – Golden Sands Laundry, part of A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises, today unveiled its new state-of-the-art industrial laundry facility at Dubai Investments Park (DIP).

Mr Abdallah Ahmed Al Moosa, Chairman, inaugurated the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside Mr Abdulaziz Al Serkal, General Manager of Dubai Investments, Omar Al Mesmar, General Manager of Dubai Investments Park (DIP) and Mohammad Saeed Al Raqabani General Manager of Dubai Investments Park – Commercial department.

A.A. Al Moosa Enterprises has partnered with Newmatic, the region’s most experienced commercial laundry consultants and equipment supplier, to complete and equip Golden Sands Laundry facility. The company had furnished all the laundry and mechanical room equipment including installation, start-up, and training services for the staff.

The laundry facility in DIP spans across an impressive 14,700sq meter facility. The new plant will have a capacity of washing 150 tonnes per day and with its 24-hour year-round operation, it is expected to handle around 200 pick-up and delivery trips on a daily basis.

The Golden Sands Laundry DIP uses touch screen controls operated by the staff so the garments are processed automatically and efficiently. Nearly all steps are preprogrammed and computer-controlled.

The new facility uses several environmentally-friendly practices for its water usage, lighting, pressing equipment as well as its cleaning wash formulas.
