Bloomingdale’s and David Yurman presented an evening of style, glamour and sophistication on Sunday October 9th, to celebrate the brand’s first foray to the Middle East, with an exclusive soirée hosted by Khalid Al Tayer and David and Sybil Yurman.

Given the Yurmans’ artistic background, the Leila Heller Gallery in Al Quoz provided the perfect setting for the contemporary museum-inspired presentation.  The story of the brand since its beginnings in New York City in the late 1970’s, which revolutionized the world of fine jewelry, was conveyed on digital multi-screens.  The exquisite design and craftsmanship, which makes the brand one of the most instantly recognisable in the world, was showcased through a broad spectrum of pieces, from High Jewelry masterpieces to iconic and beloved lines such as the Cable bracelet, inspired by the spiralled cables of Brooklyn Bridge.

More than 200 VIP guests mingled and indulged in New York inspired treats echoing the brand’s heritage.
