Dubai will welcome yet another ‘world’s first’ come 2018. The Rosemont Hotel and Residences, set to open two years from now, will be the world’s first hotel with its own 7,000 sq m rainforest boasting over 2 million sq ft of hotel, residential and leisure space, an artificial beach and a glass bottom pool which will be suspended above the streets of Dubai. The hotel is a property under Hilton’s luxury independent brand Curio – A Collection by Hilton.

The complex will include two 53-storey high towers including a 448-key hotel and a 280-room serviced apartment tower. The outdoor rainforest will be located on the top level of the entertainment podium connecting the hotel and residential towers and features waterfalls, streams, a prehistoric Jurassic-inspired marsh, splash pool, sandless beach, a rainforest café, and a sensory rain system imitating rainforest climate.

Some key attractions include robotic luggage handlers, an onsite- bowling alley and a trampoline park. The $550 million development project is designed by ZAS Architects, will be located close to Dubai Internet City and Al Kazim Towers.
