Eid Al Fitr holiday announced for Federal Authorities and Private Sectors

The Eid Al Fitr holiday for federal ministries and authorities will begin from Thursday 29th Ramadan 1436 (16th of July) and end on the 3rd of the month of Shawwal.

On this occasion, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources conveyed greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.

The authority also offered greetings to the people of the UAE and the Arab and Muslim nations around the world.

Meanwhile, employees of the private sector will get paid holidays on Eid Al Fitr starting on the first and second day of Shawwal, work will resume on the third day of Shawwal of the year 1436 AH, according to a ministerial circular issued by the Minister of Labour, Saqr Ghobash.

On the occasion, Saqr Ghobash congratulated President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.

Saqr Ghobash also congratulated the people of the UAE and residents on the occasion, wishing the country further progress and prosperity, and more pride and glory for Arab and Islamic nations.
