Fur is never too much when you need to brave the chill. So leading fashion brands go all out to present their most sumptuous and luxurious designs this autumn-winter season just for you

Fur may be a controversial topic among both animal lovers and environmentalists, but there’s no denying the fact that in the world’s coldest climates where sub-zero temperatures are the norm, (rather than the exception) owning a couple (or more) of good fur coats are your best bet to keeping you and your family snug and warm. And if they do come stylishly crafted and designed, (tagged with the name of a world renowned designer brand to boot), it can’t hurt one bit as it comes in handy to indicate your elite status too.

So while giving a kindly thought to all those furry friends of ours, let’s go ahead to discover the warmest and most alluring fur designs in store for you this season…

There are plenty of classic maxi length modeled to the knee and short sheepskin and fur coats with capes to keep the chill out of your ears. Sleek and simple, they come with or without collars and in quite a great variety of colours too. One highly fluffy, hooded apparition by Alexander McQueen appears clearly designed for the outdoors (however, beware of staying out too long or you may be just be mistaken for a wolf…)

In classic Carolina Herrera tradition, comes an elegant and covetable pea coat in indigo blue decked by a swirl of fur that goes over its wearer’s neck from the left and comes slithering down to the right. It’s worn over a high turtle-neck top in black and a stylishly cut pair of cigarette pants below. Perfect for boardroom or bar.

Emporio Armani meanwhile accents the appeal with a short, full sleeved, black and white combo sporting a horizontal geometric pattern. Team it with a bright polo to make the cut anywhere.

For the diehard, animal print lover, Tom Ford has just the piece for you in a shiny, leopard print, two-piece top and narrow skirt combo with a hooded top below.

While thrilling us with the wow factor is Versace’s extremely feminine dark chocolate brown coat in an airline-frock design featuring large, plum pink floral motifs (outlined by a tasteful sprinkling of gold studs too) at the sides as also on its long sleeves.

Now all that you do, is to pull on a pair of extremely lust-worthy, suede, knee-length boots flaunting cut-out designs and swing a cute little Versace number on your wrist like you don’t have a care in the world (now if you could just step out on the highway, you’re sure to land that modeling assignment you’ve set your heart upon!)
