Raffles Dubai serves up family fun during Dubai Food Festival

Raffles Dubai, an acclaimed pioneer of the city’s flourishing culinary scene, hosted families, foodies and fashionistas at its highly anticipated al-fresco Spring Fest, ‘The Garden at Raffles’ in collaboration with Dubai Food Festival 2016 over two fun-filled days, on 4 and 5 March.

Showcasing Dubai’s rich and diverse culinary offering, The Garden’s stalls offered a flavorsome fair of International, Arabic and Asian cuisines, serving everything from pulled BBQ rolls, gourmet burgers, prime hot dogs, grilled seafood and sausages to churned ice cream and decadent sweets.

And while parents enjoyed the delectable spread, young foodies were entertained with an abundance of fun activities in the dedicated kids entertainment zone, including a bouncy castle, face painting corner, balloon bending and art stations.

The Garden’s resident DJ kept the crowds on their feet while five-piece band Screemin’ Egulz set the mood with classic tunes from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Dubai Food Festival 2016, which is organised by the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), an agency of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM),  runs until 12 March under the theme ’Celebrate Taste’.
