SEDD promotes Sharjah as sustainable destination

Department participates in a number of global and local economic exhibitions and forums

Sharjah: The Sharjah Economic Development Department (SEDD) continues to act according to its strategic plan that calls for the planning and leading of the economic development in Sharjah driving down to attain the sustainable development and economic well-being of the emirate.

The department promotes the emirate of Sharjah through participation in a number of global and local economic exhibitions and forums such as the ‘Hanvoer Messe’ exhibition in Germany, ‘SIAL’ exhibition in Paris, World Investment Summit in China, Emirati-Saudi Investment Forum, World Economic Forum in Jordan, in addition to its participations in government and trade delegations that the Ministry of Economy organises.

Developing the emirate’s economy is considered as one of the main tasks of SEDD, whereas such international forums are important to promote the economic and commercial cooperation with different countries all over the world, to raise mutual investment rates in all sectors and to provide investors with the needed facilities to carry out their businesses and complete their procedures, as well as to overcome all the obstacles that they face.
