Shaikh Mohammed directed the chamber's chairman and members to work as one team and benefit from experiences of local businesspersons and experts in this field.

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has met the new board of directors of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Zabeel Palace.

Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Shaikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, also attended the meeting.

During the meeting Shaikh Mohammed and Majid Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber, exchanged views with the new members of the board on the chamber's future work plan.

Shaikh Mohammed directed the chamber’s chairman and members to work as one team and benefit from experiences of local businesspersons and experts in this field. He also emphasised the importance of injecting new blood in the government departments and harnessing talents to keep pace with the contemporary requirements professionally and transparently.

He also wished the new board good luck and success in serving their homeland and national interests as well as foreign investors, who look for safety, stability and legislations that safeguard their rights, capitals and properties.
