Passenger traffic at DXB International hits all-time high of 8 million in January

WAM -- Dubai International has announced that monthly passenger traffic numbers in January reached 8 million, according to a report issued by operator, Dubai Airports, today.
Passenger traffic rose 9.7 percent to 8,037,008 in January 2017, up from 7,327,637 in the same month in 2016. This follows DXB’s performance in 2016 during which the airport welcomed a record 83.6 million passengers.

WAM--Dubai Customs launched on Tuesday, "Jawab service," upon the directives of the wise leadership to make Dubai the world’s smartest city.

RTA bars car rental companies from retaining renter’s passport or identity card

WAM -- The Roads and Transport Authority, RTA, has announced new stipulations for issuing permits for car rental business in Dubai.
"No private documents relating to the renter shall be retained such as the passport or identity card," said Nasir Al-Haj, Director of Commercial Transport Activities, RTA’s Licensing Agency.
