Parisian luxury icon Van Cleef & Arpels will present ‘Art of Crafts’, an exhibition at Design Days Dubai. Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, the fair is hosted at Dubai Design District, the home for the region’s design and creative industries.

A Tribute to Emeralds

The Émeraude en majesté collection bears witness to the special attachment that Van Cleef & Arpels has always felt for this precious stone. Like a demanding, patient and enthusiastic collector, the Maison has taken the time to search the world for exceptional emeralds. It now pays tribute to them with a set of interpretations that reveal all their beauty and character.

Van Cleef & Arpels hosts Porcelain de Sèvres

Porcelain de Sèvres hosts an exhibition presenting an array of their most artistic and treasured designs, celebrating the traditional craft of porcelain métier d'art, which is dear to Van Cleef & Arpels. Founded in 1740, under the influence of Madame de Pompadour, the Manufacture has supplied porcelain tableware and art objects to the Kings of France and the country’s leading institutions, along with several foreign royal courts. The quality of its materials, the remarkable virtuosity of its craftsmen and its taste for modernity have brought about an international reputation that continues unabated to this day. Since 2012, the Maison has collaborated with Sèvres Cite de La Ceramique in creating its limited editions. Van Cleef & Arpels will also reveal exquisite creations which pursue this métier d’art. The Maison reveals two necklaces which combine porcelain métier d’art with jewelry craftsmanship. Visit the exhibition to discover the union of two decorative talents.

Delve into the Savoir-Faire

During the exhibition, admirers of crafts are welcome to experience educative workshops hosted by Van Cleef & Arpels.
